The No.1 game development platform expanding its business to blockchain
Blockchain game service platform PlayDapp in South Korea announced on the 12th that it has signed a joint business contract with Nbase Korea to expand the blockchain game ecosystem.
Through this contract, the two companies agreed to enter the blockchain market in the North America. In particular, PlayDapp will supply its blockchain plug-ins specialized for blockchain games to Nbase Korea, which will then include the services on one of its main services, GAMEPOT. Nbase Korea’s strategy is to actively encourage implementation of blockchain technology to more than 50 domestic software developers who are currently using GAMEPOT and to expand the blockchain game ecosystem globally by entering the North American market first, which already has high level of interest and understanding of blockchain games.
PlayDapp is a blockchain application game portal that provides a “marketplace” between individuals based on blockchain technology. Its games are interoperable and provide a variety of game portfolios that gamers can enjoy with irreplaceable tokens — the NFT. It also provides an “item manager” that provides a function to convert goods acquired in games into NFTs.
GAMEPOT provides an integrated game management platform for game developers and provides various services needed for future operation of the games — as a form of software development kits (SDKs). In addition to GAMEPOT, all of Nbase Korea’s solutions run in the most reliable and fast cloud infrastructure of NAVER Cloud Platform.
